About the position

In this role, you will have daily contact with customers who, for various reasons, have not paid their bills, where you will have the chance to make a significant difference and find solutions to achieve payments. You will be offered a varied daily job with both phone contact and administrative tasks.

You will belong to Sergel's largest department, Operations, which is divided into teams with different focuses. The main tasks of the position are the same across all teams but with some differences in focus areas.

Main tasks as a Debt Collection Agent:

  • Handle incoming debt collection cases via phone and our business systems in a personal and effective manner
  • Administer debt collection cases
  • With a strong problem-solving and service focus, arrive at the right payment solution together with the customer
  • Act as an advisor in debt collection and establish payment plans and deferments

Training and onboarding

Your onboarding will last two weeks, the training is mandatory and takes place on-site to give you a good preparation before starting. Since the position requires in-depth knowledge of the debt collection process, this training is an important part of the onboarding process. During this time, you will also have the opportunity to meet and get to know your new colleagues.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver to the fingertips and has a clear goal and results focus. To succeed in the role, we see that you are a quick learner, efficient, and have excellent communication skills. Furthermore, we see that you have the courage to take initiatives and come up with ideas for improving efficiency in your daily work.

You should be easy to collaborate with your team, be attentive to your surroundings, and have a desire to develop together with the company. We also see that you have a positive attitude towards change and development and have the ability to act flexibly and handle different types of cases that come in. With a strong work ethic, we see that you take on the role in a professional and responsible manner.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in customer service or support work
  • Experience in administrative work that includes documentation and case management
  • Familiarity with systems and computers
  • You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English
  • Experience in the debt collection industry is a plus
  • Experience working with the phone as your primary work tool

Other

The position is a consultancy assignment with a fixed-term employment. Start date June 9 with the last date August 22. Full-time position 100%

The most common working hours you will work are weekdays 08:30-17:15 and 09:30-18:15.

Fixed-term employment with Manpower

Start date June 9, 2025. Two weeks of training/introduction starts on this date, so it is important that you are available then!
